Breaking news "Scoil Íosa is gone to the dogs!"
Don't panic! We had a visit from some working dogs on Thursday in school. Kane's mam and dad brought along Kane's assistance dog Hilda and 5 of her friends. They are all working dogs and their job is to help children with autism to be calm and enjoy going out and about in their locality. When they are at work they all wear their green coat. This is a sign that the dog is at work and that you should ask the owner for permission to pet it. We would like to say a big thank you to Debbie and Carl and all their friends for bringing their lovely dogs in to see us.

World Book Day 2015
Our school came to life with our celebration of World Book day on 5th March. Pupils and staff were dressed as their favourite characters to promote reading and books in our school. Our corridors and classrooms were full of Cinderellas, Little Red Riding hoods, Horrid Henries, Harry Potters, and Matildas. We had great fun chatting about our favourite stories and characters. We were very lucky to have many guest readers who shared their favourite childhood stories with us. Check out our photos below.
